Falcon's Bar & Grill: Your Ultimate Sports Dining Experience in Colorado Springs

In the pork chop meal, one was good, the other tasted like the meat was really old... Night and day difference between the two cuts. If you like sports bars, it's a great place. One giant and I think 4 other big screens with different games. Air force memorabilia on the walls. Server was great. It was much better than expected for a hotel bar that is not in a big urban downtown area.

So glad I chose to come to this bar and grill! I was looking for a place to catch the UNLV vs Air Force game and figured they'd be showing it here. Upon request, they changed one of the TVs to the game with no problem. Great service already! I ordered the prime rib dip sandwich with fries and a side of ranch. Additional, I ordered a virgin sangria to enjoy the game with. That sandwich was one of the best prime rib ones I've had! The beef was cooked to perfection and with just the right amount of seasoning. Their fries were also cooked just right (crispy). There is unlimited salad and soup of the day while supplies last. I'm a huge fan of ranch...the ranch was great! I gave the bartender/server a challenge by ordering a virgin sangria. But boy, can he deliver! That sangria was perfectly sweet, mixed, and prepared! Great job, Michael! Food was real good and service was exceptional. I won't hesitate to return here next time I'm in the area. There's plenty of free parking outside and prices are reasonable.

Most items on the menu were not available.... put the Sharpie down and order new menus and update your website. The burger was better than I expected.

This is a great eatery inside a great hotel! It’s nice to enjoy food and drinks while you can watch your kids swim!

Falcon's Bar and Restaurant is inside the Academy Hotel in Colorado Springs. It's in the atrium and is a convenient option when staying in the hotel, although it is open to outside guests as well. The location is across the Interstate where South Gate becomes Academy Boulevard, so this place is frequented by service personnel and their families. They serve Salads, Steaks, Pizza, Burgers and other sandwiches, but they do not serve breakfast unless you are a hotel guest They are open from 6am-10-pm. It was our choice for this evening since we weren't sure about other options in the area. The ambiance is nice, in fact the atrium is set up for wedding receptions and is frequently used for such. The food was good and reasonably priced. I had the Jack Daniels Burger. Beware the drippy sauce. It stains. Portions are filling. Limited desserts are offered but we were full enough to not partake. If you are a hotel guest, a $10 Dinner Voucher is provided, one to a room. The menu is posted on the website. Parking is the same as for the hotel, and is free.

This was our relax spot after exploring Colorado. We ordered the same thing every night, honestly... because it was so good the first night. We even came here after trying the airplane restaurant because the food suck so we came and got some wings and a burger. The drinks was on point, Gage was awesome! No complaints just a chill spot.

We stayed at the Academy hotel a few nights and ate here two evenings. Dinner here is an excellent value because it includes a full plate with protein, veggies and starch plus salad bar and dessert. House wine is a great price too. The service is great and so is the cooking. We had prime rib one evening and salmon another. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
